Okay, it was stupid, but I only did it once, and I regretted it immediately. Perhaps out of frustration or maybe just pure ignorance of being an 8-year-old boy. But as was typical at the end of the week, my mom “asked” me to take out the garbage. Not sure why but I responded: “Why me, Opal?” It’s tough to explain what happened after that. Suffice it to say, I never did it again. For me to first ask “why.” That was a cardinal sin. “Why” was a swear word in our home. And then, to compound that mistake by calling her by her “given” name. I might as well have told her “why not go and do it yourself, pal.” The effect would have been the same. Immediate justice. Throwing myself at the mercy of the court had little effect. Now, clearly, anyone who has kids knows that children test the boundaries of everything. They test what language is acceptable and what language got you locked in your bedroom without dinner. Of course, parents do that to teach their children both manners and reverence. Calling your father dad, and your mother mom shows a hierarchy in the homelife totem pole. It shows who’s in charge and who’s not. It shows who pays the bills and who still has a bedtime. We can all see that and even agree in large part. However, when the government tells you, you don’t get to ask “why.” Or, when our government (and non-government) agencies tell us what we cannot say and what we cannot think, it’s safe to assume that that government has become a Mommy State, A.K.A. A Surveillance State bent on controlling the tax-paying public.
However, there will always be those who dare to ask “why.” There will always be those willing to jab the bear. Right now, Joe Rogan and Jordan Peterson are the ones pushing the government’s boundaries of public speech. And where Democrats used to defend free speech for every American, they now demand censorship at all levels of public discourse. How long until our smartphones are routinely tapped by Merrick Garland’s DOJ? Or, perhaps it’s already happening, but we’ve been too preoccupied admiring face-recognition technology instead of telling Apple, Google, and Amazon—STOP.
IS THERE A DOCTOR IN THE HOUSE?
Joe Rogan from “The Joe Rogan Experience” had a doctor on his podcast—Dr. Robert Malone. According to a “Nature” article “The Tangled History of mRNA Vaccines,” it says Malone began RNA experiments as far back as 1987. Those experiments are the base science supporting modern vaccines. So, it should be easy to see why Rogan had him on his show. With all this news floating around about vaccines and their efficacy, I’m sure Rogan got more than his usual 11M listening subscribers.
RAW INFORMATION IS LIKE RAW GUNPOWDER
Now, just like my Mom, CNN, MSNBC, and Social Media gurus are attempting to stop Rogan from asking questions. These so-called “News organizations” are nothing more than propaganda factories. I mean that literally. CNN and MSNBC et, al., manufacture news that fits their predisposition. So when a person like Rogan starts poking around in explosive areas or topics they don’t want to be examined or exposed, the media calls for him to be taken off whatever platform they’re on.
PUBLIC ENEMY NO. 2
Feminist Advocate: “Why should your rights to freedom of speech trump a transperson’s right not to be offended?”
Dr. Peterson: “Because in order to be able to think you have to risk being offended. I mean, look at the conversations we are having right now. I know you’re certainly willing to offend me in the pursuit of truth. Why should you have the right to do that? It’s been rather uncomfortable.”
Feminist Advocate: “Except, you haven’t sat there and…I mean…”(AWKWARD PAUSE) “I’m just trying to work that out.” (AWKWARD PAUSE)
Dr. Peterson: “Ha. Got you.”
Feminist Advocate: “You have got me. I’m trying to work that out in my head. It took a while.” She said laughing.
So in a very, good-humored way, Jordan Peterson was able to break through that wall of Leftist denial. This is why the Left is so desperate to shut down all conversations with conservatives. You see, it’s easy to talk to those with whom you agree. It’s like intellectual masturbation; sure it must feel good at the time, but the only one that benefits is you. This is the reason AOC never appears on Fox News. This is the reason CNN never invites Thomas Sowell to join the debate on economics. This is why the Left went nuts after Kanye West voiced his support for Trump. Because it may elicit more candid conversations from those with whom they disagree. If they have those conversations, they would be forced to defend their horrible policies. Then, AOC would have to defend killing millions of people worldwide if the New Green Deal was ever enacted. CNN would have to defend not having black men like Sowell on their airwaves. Instead, CNN’s Don Lemon just calls all Trump supporters white supremacists. That way, he never has to engage them. After all, why argue with a David Duke? That would be a waste of time.
THE BOTTOM LINE
Recently, Jack Dorsey took to Twitter and queried why writers on Substack should leave and join his newly created competitive newsletter platform “Ghost.” Most of the people that responded, eviscerated him. Mostly because of Dorsey’s actions against dissenting voices. In the 2020 election, he spent all his political capital on getting Joe Biden into office. With that out of the way, the dust has settled. Unfortunately, the dust is settling in the homes of millions of Americans that bought the Joe Biden act. From our wide-open southern border leading to mass illegal immigration to the Afghanistan withdrawal debacle, Biden has failed. As a result, now people like Joe Rogan and Jordan Peterson are having substantive 4 hour-long conversations about the following: politics, dark matter, being married, bad relations, vaccinations and vacations, and everything in between. This is the reason mainstream media news outlets like CNN have lost 90% of their viewing audience—Joe Rogan is a long-form interview with no commercial breaks and no BS. Compare that to Don Lemon’s ultra-slick, overtly smug programming on CNN. This is why the media is trying to get Rogan taken off Spotify. It ain’t “misinformation” that they’re worried about. It’s the unfiltered unbiased raw information that bugs them. The Joe Rogan Experience is a tough act to follow when you’re beholden to the Democrat Machine and corporate interests. So keep rocking the podcasting mic Rogan, and let them try to follow.
